Frank J. Biga

Frank J. Biga is an adjunct professor at 老王论坛鈥檚 Stuart School of Business. His concentration is in project management, where he has attained Project Management Professional (PMP) status. He also specializes in finance and federal government contracting (FAR).
He has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Loyola University Chicago with a concentration in finance. He also earned master of arts (M.A.) and bachelor of arts (B.A.) degrees from Loyola.
Since 1989, Biga has operated his own consulting business specializing in project management and has conducted training programs in project management for such companies as AT&T, Lucent Technologies, and Bellcore. His company deployed more than 20 trainers to more than 20 countries overseas. He also provides consulting services in finance to the franchise industry, has raised capital for turnaround situations as well as new business ventures, and has been engaged in forensic accounting cases as an expert witness.
Prior to starting his own firm, Biga worked in management positions for major companies such as Xerox Corporation, Citibank, Continental Bank, Sanwa Bank, and Foxmeyer. At Xerox he was involved in the start up of a finance arm and at Citibank he led the conversion of a major portfolio to a new computer platform. At Continental Bank he was a vice president of lease administration. At Foxmeyer he was responsible for raising capital for new store expansion and for managing credit lines.
Biga was elected to a four-year term at the Niles Public Library, where he headed the finance committee and cosponsored the first public grant for library expansion in the State of Illinois. He has traveled to more than 40 countries and was a member of the Loyola University national alumni association board, where he served a four-year term. He also was a high school history teacher and served in the U.S. Army and the Reserves.
