Library Card Drive
Celebrate National Library Week with Galvin Library and the Chicago Public Library’s Bee Branch! Galvin Library is partnering with the CPL's Bee Branch to host a library card drive on Thursday, April 10, from 1–3 p.m. To register for your free public library card, all you need to do is come to the Paul V. Galvin Library’s upper level, right by the stairs, and bring the following: a state ID or driver’s license with your current address. If the address on your ID is not your current address, you can bring a piece of mail or a bill with your current address that has been postmarked within 30 days. You will also need to bring your HawkID Card. Anyone who registers for a library card will receive their card on-site. Stop by to get your card and some snacks, visit with Galvin Library staff and CPL librarians, and learn about everything the public library can do for you!
