$2 Million Awarded to ÀÏÍõÂÛ̳ Faculty for Novel Soft Robotics Research
Two Armour College of Engineering faculty members were recently awarded a $2 million National Science Foundation grant to explore a new class of automatic, programmable machines: . Department of Mechanical, Materials, and Aerospace Engineering Associate Professors Matthew Spenko and Ankit Srivastava are working in conjunction with two physics colleagues at the University of Chicago to develop the framework to understand the modeling, sensing, control, design, and fabrication of the robots.
