Each year, the Chicago Area Undergraduate Research Symposium (CAURS) brings together nearly 130 undergraduate students in the fields of biology, chemistry, physics, engineering, mathematics, computer science, psychology, sociology, and humanities to participate in poster and oral presentations. This year, CAURS was held at the Museum of Science and Industry on April 9. ������̳ students excelled at the annual event, winning two awards:

Honorable Mention in Physical and Geophysical Sciences: Melanie Dooley, “Fabrication of Diffraction Gratings with Fifty Nanometer Feature Size for Use in Antimatter Gravity Study”
