Student organizations can get funding from the Finance Board to sponsor ticketed events. Once the student organization gets funding, it will work with its Office of Student Life liaison to purchase the tickets and advertise to its fellow students.
Tickets typically go on sale at 1:00 p.m. on a given day and are sold online on a first-come, first-served basis until the tickets run out.

Don't see an organization that interests you? Start your own! Any student can create their own organization, as long there is not a similar organization already in place. First, review this on the New Student Organization creation process. Next, schedule a meeting with Assistant Director of Student Life, Graham Davis (gdavis11@iit.edu).
We recognize and support the value of an active student community on campus, and we commit our support to the success of each organization. An abundance of resources and support are available to every group. Every student organization is required to have at least one faculty/staff advisor. Advisors are expected to be familiar with and supportive of the mission and vision of the student organization with which they are affiliated. Space reservations for student organizations are handled by the Office of Student Life. To make a reservation, you will need to complete this . We ask that all reservation requests are put in two weeks prior to your event. If you are hosting a larger event, remember that you can book space up to a year out, so get your request in as soon as you can!
The Office of Student Life a team of roughly 15-20 student employees. Our student staff members work at the MTCC front desk and at the BOG, assisting 老王论坛 community members and campus guests.
Any jobs that the Office of Student Life has open will be posted on the website. Only applications submitted via Handshake will be up for consideration.
